    The best thing I've ever worn

    I had a robe, teal velvet microfleece, for years, thst I took great care of, to ensure it stayed nice, and I loved it! It was the most expensive I'd ever owned til then, at nearly $90 in 2020, and it saw me through several Colorado winters... then I became disabled due to an unexpected injury. Now in a wheelchair with mobility issues, the large hanging sleeves, heavy weight, voluminous hood, etc ... all create obstacles for me, and it was not long enough to cover my legs in my wheelchair. Additionally, it didn't close completely in my wheelchair as it's impossible to fully close my legs in my chair. I missed 2 winters with a ribe because I couldn't find a workable solution, so I just ... froze! (I have a chronic genetic condition which makes it hard to thermoregulate and makes me prone to injuries.) Anyway. I saved up for this and caught a sale price and just put it on straight out of the package, tags still on, to ensure fit ... and O.M.G. ✨️ ... this is the best thing I've put on my body since my husband! *wink* Seriously though ... I'm about 5'2 standing (with help) and it JUST brushes the floor when tied. I have a distinct hourglass shape already, so I knew I needed something to allow room in the bottom half. And still allow space to cover my legs while seated despite my legs not closing! This does all of that AND bonus... it's warm AND lightweight AND the sleeves are close to my body, with gentle cuffs on the wrists so no humongous fleece sleeves to catch on everything…

    overall super comfy and quality feeling. however I wish the sleeves were longer as they tend to go above my wrists which I'm not a fan of. debating if I should sew in some kind of fabric with thumb holes so I can extend past and keep it in place, probably just a personal preference but it would have been nice to have longer sleeves.
