Our Founder

Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, Emi immigrated to the United States when she was 13. Along with her family, Emi settled in Phoenix, Arizona, where she attended middle and high school. Fueled by her passion for business and entrepreneurship, Emi earned her bachelor’s degree in business marketing from the University of Phoenix.

After graduating, Emi founded BrandMe Co., a company specializing in merchandise branding for businesses and organizations. Over seven years, she collaborated with prestigious and notable clients, including Element® By Westin, a hotel brand by Marriott International, Inc., and Barrett-Jackson Car Auction. These high-profile projects were instrumental in strengthening her branding skills, deepening her client relations expertise and fueling her entrepreneurial spirit and business growth.

In 2020, despite the toll the pandemic took on small businesses, Emi was determined to create her own luxury loungewear brand. Inspired by her favorite white robe, Emi set out to fill the niche that the loungewear market was missing—the perfect, sexy little robe. Spearheading the company and building it from the ground up, Emi became the founder and CEO of Sexy Little Robe.

Taking her own measurements and working with a specialized team, Emi began constructing the design and fit of a robe that would transform any woman into their most confident, collected self. Contrary to traditional robes in the market, Emi designed robes with clean necklines, fitted sleeves and lightweight fabric, all while focusing on a flattering, fitted look.

Through all the planning, coordination and logistical challenges of starting a new business, Emi persevered and now embraces the excitement and fulfillment of running a company born from her passion. She remains focused on expanding her brand, with plans to introduce a men’s and children’s line in the future. Today, Emi stands as a testament to the power of women creating their own paths in business.
